DESIGN DECISIONS

Passcode:

Put passcode navigation in the main flow instead of hidden in the original version for intuitive access and less clicks

Curation content:

Based off our assumption that our user already has their own interests, we decided to give the user a choice to pick content they already like, instead of letting Disney's existing UI make their assumptions

Skip button:

Added "skip" button for user freedom

Color:

Kept color to Disney Plus colors for easy implementation and congruency

NEXT STEPS

If we had more time, we would go through more user testing and make our revisions based on those responses.

Our foreseeable next steps include contacting the marketing team to make sure they are marketing Disney Plus as both kid and adult content to pull in more customers

PROJECT TAKEAWAYS

This 3-day project was fun and eye-opening to see how many design systems use similar UI to communicate. While it was exciting to develop new design ideas, we were reminded that simplicity is sometimes the best way to go. The most challenging part was deciding what to implement to enhance the Disney Plus experience for an adult. All in all, I am proud of our elegant and non-disruptive final design.
