Design Requirements
Design requirements are a set of specifications that are to be included in a website prototype based off user research. We brainstormed 10 requirements to include in our website based off our interview results and sorted them into either the"Action, Object, & Context" category (which deals with how users interact with our site), or "Data, Functional, & Contextual" category (which deals with how users' data is stored on our site).
Action, Object & Context
1. Help users to search for volunteering opportunities of their own interests/filters.
2. Inform users of location-based searching to find nearby volunteering
opportunities
3. Provide information about requirements and pandemic/COVID-related
restrictions/safety measures for each opportunity
4. Allow users to check the volunteering companies’ objectives, backgrounds,
locations, people in charge, contact info, etc.
5. Connect users with other volunteers associated with the listed volunteering
opportunity they are interested in

Data, Functional & Contextual
1. Allow users to edit and store personal information such as phone number, email,
resume etc.
2. Allow users to send personal information to volunteering companies in case a
contact is required
3. Allow users to be able to track, organize and manage their volunteering
opportunities (dates/times) on their profile
4. Allow users to easily check the status (accepted/declined) of their volunteering
applications.
5. Display related volunteering opportunities based on the user's past experiences
