Storyboards

Storyboards are a way of visualizing a solution to a specific user scenario and are often between 3 to 6 panels long. These panels are short in order to convey the solution briefly yet effectively. Each team member created 2 storyboards using two different mediums - the most common combination is where one storyboard is a sketch and the other is a photo. Experimenting with different styles allowed us to capture emotions and thoughts of our user base more accurately.

 

We created storyboards for a variety of different scenarios based off our interview results and what we thought our personas would do in a specific scenario. The variety allowed us to tackle many possible solutions and we took note of those in order to include features that worked with those solutions in our website prototype.
